Annie and Luke - the barefoot bride and groom were married in true Broome beach style at Entrance Point in Saturday 4th June, 2016.
Family and friends joined them for the festivites from near and far with the brides own parents flying in from Seattle!
Often I cry at weddings and when Annie and Luke had the quote from the opening scene from 'Love Actually' as a reading in their wedding there wasn't a dry eye in the house (or on the beach). Celebrations continued well into the night at a private home here in Broome with dancing, eating, fabulous speeches and a slideshow or two!
These two are destined to be together for a lifetime of adventures, and happiness surrounded by love and family and friends!
Congrats Mr and Mrs Scanlon xx
"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around. " The Prime Minister- Love Actually
